Adding white space around image posts

Adding white space around image posts

I am finding that the text in my posts do not leave any white space on images (aligned to left by default)

I can manually add hspace="10" to each image in the post, but ideally I would prefer to adjust the style.css file so that images are formatted automatically.

I have tried various options without success.

Could you please point me in the right direction
