Can't open WP admin or site in Firefox

I'm having a WEIRD problem with my site since yesterday afternoon and I have NO idea what is going on.

I was working on my site yesterday, minding my own business. I was working on a cformsII form for the main page -- don't think that has anything to do with it. But anyway, after I had made a few tweaks, I save my changes and went to view my site.

Nothing. It just sits there and says "waiting for www.sitename.com" and the loading image in the tab just keeps whirling around, mocking me.

I can get in fine in IE but when I view the site there, it's suddenly broken beyond belief. I can see a comment in the page, as if something wasn't closed right but in the code I find nothing wrong. It was displaying just fine in Firefox all along -- hadn't checked it in IE for awhile.

But I just can't figure out why I can't pull up the darn thing in Firefox. I've cleared my browser cache and done some searches to see if I can troubleshoot it, but it's just plain weird. I thought it was my connection yesterday so I just quit for the day.

Any ideas? It's driving me nuts. I have had so many bizarre problems with software and servers and all things computer this week that have nothing to do with something I've done, you just wouldn't believe it! (or maybe you would...)
