Best way to make WP private for company intranet

Have an existing WP site that need to make private only for company staff. Would be closed list of users that only need to read content/company information and be able to fill out a form to submit sales report figures. What's the best way to lock down all pages an posts and make sure that everyone who tries to access the website must log in before they see any content. Don't need elaborate membership - any recommendation for plugin or ???. Thanks.
