Tweetmeme Plugin and Homepage Excerpts

I am trying to use the the Tweetme plugin on my website http://www.creative-web-ideas.com
It works fine if I only add to bottom of the post but if I add to the top, if changes the right-side of the homepage layout where the excerpts of my latest posts display. Any way around this?
I have tried adding the script to my index.php file and it works but only RTs to tweetmeme instead of my Twitter username.
