Secure the page an iframe is dispalyed on

Hi,

I am exploring the use of iframes to display a storefront on my website. I know I give up the SEO and I am ok with that. It seems like it should work but I have the following concerns.

The storefront is secure, it runs on an SSL certificate on a different server owned by the ecommerce provider. When viewed through the iframe the browser the will not show the show that the page is secure. Can I put the page (that houses the iframe) on an SSL certificate to show the customers they are secure or put the whole site on its own SSL certificate, so all pages are HTTPS?

This is new site, so if above would work I would not loose any SEO by changing the pages from HTTP to HTTPS.
