Hi
I am creating a travel site. I created a PAGE to hold a listing of the hotels - www.site.com/hotels I created a custom post type for the individual hotels called hotels - so hotels posts are www.site.com/hotels/hyatt, www.site.com/hotels/radisson etc. I then tried creating a page (child of hotels) to list 5 star hotels - www.site.com/hotels/5-star-hotels. I get 404 error when trying to look at www.site.com/hotels/5-star-hotels Is this because the page www.site.com/hotels/5-star-hotels is effectively following the same directory structure as my custom post type for hotels. I'm guessing you can't create a top level page that has the same directory structure as a custom post? and then create child pages of that page? Or is it something completely different such as a plugin conflict? Thanks in advance |
