Static Content in HomePage

Hi All,

This is my site and as you can see, I am trying to add a static page in the front, But there are issues with

1) alignment of the text next to the image (warping is not good)
2) The bullets are going outside the margin
3) The content is not in line with the others and is edge to edge

Though I am newbie to coding I used this forum and gave the

<div id="homepagetop">

but when I try to give
<div class="featuredtop">
The sidebar comes below the HP Bottom

I want the content to look like

Kindly provide me the right code to get this issue solved
