Default Links in to my wordpress site

HI,

I know that links in and out are good, but over the last couple of days I have had a couple of links that I have needed to authorise if I wanted it.

As I say, I know links are good, but what could happen if I agree to having the link to my site from a site that pretty mush has nothing to do with property or Tenerife, which is what my site is all about?

Is there something that the other site can do to affect my site and the workings of it etc...I have just been trashing the links, because the sites that they have been going to seem pretty poor and as such I don't think it'll help me much anyway...I think I'd rather have no links than these.

Thanks for any advice.
