Hi gang,
How are people handling WP updates, Genesis updates, and plugin updates on their client sites? I assume regular updates are quite important in order to keep our fellow hackers at bay. Is that a correct assumption? Do you: Make the clients responsible for keeping their site up to date? Perform the updates yourself under a maintenance contract? Perform the updates yourself for free to keep their site secure? Altogether ignore updates and hope for the best? How frequently do you check for client updates? How often do client updates happen to break something? And is there an automated solution to keep track of your client sites and available updates? I know, a lot of questions! Any thoughts appreciated Thanks a bunch! Joe |
