Are there options to install widgets on the homepage of minimum?

Hi,

I would like to start using Minimum, but before I do. I would like to know how difficult it is to use standard WordPress widgets/Plugins on the homepage of this theme.

As I am not a coder, I could not find any threads about this...

Could anybody help me out with this.
