Question Using WordPress as an Auction platform?
I know WordPress has limitations for the platform and is not a silver bullet for all website designs.

I researched a theme based auction (AuctionPress) solution from PremiumPress and an auction plugin from WP Auctions. WP Auctions received less than stellar reviews and I could not discover any reviews about AuctionPress.

Based on the scarcity of auction plugins (free or pro) and a general lack of information about implementing an auction using WordPress, I conclude that WordPress must be a poor platform for implementing an auction based website.

Can any member support my conclusions or provide information about using the WordPress framework for auctions?
