Is Premise mostly redundant?

Hello,

I currently own Genesis and the Executive theme. Isn't everything that Premise can do, already in my Executive theme?

Can you provide some justification for a purchase of Premise that is complimentary to the executive theme and not simply redundant?

Of course its possible, I'm just missing the point!
Which is why I'm writing!

Can you assist?
