Resubmit sitemap to Google after adding metadata?

Default Resubmit sitemap to Google after adding metadata?
Having written 50+ pages on the website, I now want to go back and rewrite metadata for quite a few of the pages. Some of them don't include metadata at all.

What's the best and most efficient method of doing so?

Should I resubmit the entire sitemap after updating it all, or should I do it page by page, or will Google naturally find these new updates?
