Featured Page Widget Formatting?

Featured Page Widget Formatting?

Is there a way to make the featured page widget or the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified format post/page content better? Example: in the home middle right section, "CAREER KAIZEN & YOU", of http://careerkaizen.com/, there are some weird spaces due to the way the actual page is formated. Is there a way to remove this formatting so that the excerpt being displayed will flow better?
