Rearranging posts in a certain order

Rearranging posts in a certain order

Hi, I found an old thread with this link:

but I don't see the naswer i am looking for.

I am using posts as a catalog of plants. My client wants them in a specific order. As I create the new posts, the order is by date entered, of course.

Anyone have an idea if/how this can be done? The order is not logical.
