Image Nav Grid

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction, I am currently building a site that shows a customers products they are not selling online but i want to show an image grid of products.

So if a customers clicks Cat A then a page with all products within Cat A will show up in an image grid then if you click an image it will take you to a page about that product a bit like a shopping cart but without selling.

Any help much appreciated regards Alistair
