Hi there
This may be a very stupid question but I'm just checking... I have a base install of wp recommended by a very successful marketer, there are a number of useful plugins Google Analytics is one of those and you can check what you want recorded and what you dont, eg dont record admin, contributors etc Now within Genesis of course you can add the meta snippet from Google Webmaster tools and that seems currently to be the only way I can successfully and easily get my site verified for tracking Does the genesis header code option provide as much info as the GA plugin? in terms of what it can record etc I'm guessing yes in which case thats one less plugin to have to use on my Genesis sites :) Please clarifiy if you know the answer as the plugins stays until I can be certain I get what I want Also, any thoughts on footprinting as an affiliate marketer with mutliple blogs/sites, some client sites and a couple of authority blogs, there is much debate about using Google Analytics but I haven't found a suitable reliable alternative yet. Thanks |
