Color Change of Pink RSS Button

Hi Folks,
New to the Lifestyle theme and trying to get it up for my nonprofit disability organization. I want to change the color of the pink RSS button on the right under "enews and updates." I downloaded the image file to Paint. I found another image of an organge button and resized it. Cut and pasted the orange button over the pink button...and the orange button turned pink! This actually gives me hope that there is an easier way to change this color but meanwhile I am at a loss as to what to do. Please advise.
