Default Help! Wordpress Changes the Code When Switching Between Visual and HTML Editor

When I switch from HTML editor to the visual editor, Wordpress changes the code and the page gets all messed up. How do I put an end to this madness? I prefer working with the visual editor and sometimes need to add things to the html section. Ugh. This is soooo frustrating!!

Why is this happening? How can I make it stop?!!!
