Queston on categories

Hello;

If I have an article on a blog roll and I wish to move this to one of the menus for more exposure and reading, can I simply tuck the post under the menu heading and leave it on the blog roll? Will this cause any issue with duplicate content since it is on a menu and under the category which is the blogroll?
