Revolution Sidebar (right)

I modified my right sidebar to have a photo and lead in text for a particular article category by taking the code from the home page left had column and putting it in there.

But the "more" link is not working in that column and so the entire article is appearing. Can I do this? Or is it not possible the way the software is designed?
