When you have prior to Genesis 1.8.0, Simple Hooks 1.8.0.2 installs & shouldn't

I find that when I update some sites that do not have the latest version of Genesis, simple hooks is still allowed to update (where as before it required and prompted you to update Genesis first). This causes the admin white screen, I have to disable the simple hooks plugin via ftp them update Genesis then re-enable simple hooks, probably a better way to address this in your teams end. Thanks!
