Pages vs. Posts featured on home.php

rHi All,

Can of the layout concept of the "homepagebottom" and the "homepageright", that pulls the most recent posts from the respective Category... be used for Pages too?

Can the most recent Pages that are written, be featured on the homepage in a similar manner that the posts are featured on the index.php? You know... with the title and a content limit from the Page, rather than from the Post?

Any thoughts?
