Duplicate Category on Homepage keeps breaking

Just wondering if there are any guidelines with regards to the duplicate category on the homepage. It keeps on breaking on my development site http://www.womenhomebusiness.com/wordpress/

Are there any rules with regards to:

- Number of words in the title?
- Whether a thumbnail is must or is it possible not to have thumbnails?

I am finding that I have to shorten the title of the posts that will be shown in the homepage because it keeps on breaking up. Is there a way to keep it more stable and not be wrecked every time you have 1 word extra?
