How To Add Page Number Links

Hello everyone.. I normally don't have a problem customizing any of the studiopress family themes, but this situation has me stumped...

I have a site customized in the metro theme for a client and he is using a 3 column blogstyle page as his homepage. He has well over the standard 10 posts in the homepage category, but for some reason, I can't get it to show either page number box navigation at the bottom or "next page/last page".

Any help at all would be super :)
