Read More won't work on pages but does on homepage

I have the line

<?php the_content_limit(200, "[Read more about this photo session]"); ?>

both on the home page and on other pages on my site:-

http://www.photography-perth.com.au

The link works perfectly when selected from any featured category on the home page but just returns me to the same page when I try the same thing from one of the other pages e.g.

http://www.photography-perth.com.au/kids-photography

I know I must have screwed something up but for the life of me i can't think what.

Any suggestions as to where to look will be greatly appreciated.
