image caption shows in FCG

I have an image with caption at the beginning of a post, and I find the caption code appears in the excerpt from the post in FCG. I am aware of tim Waddell's trimmer plug-in, but can't find where it applies in this case. Anyone have any ideas?

Wordpress 2.6.3, Rev2 lifestyle theme.
