Changing a category name

Hello All;

I noticed one of my pages was a sub-page of a parent page or category??? None the less I removed this and put a redirect on so that the permalink is no longer http://psychiatristscottsdale.com/ma...is-depression/ and now it is http://psychiatristscottsdale.com/what-is-depression/

Is there anything else I need to do to avoid getting dinged for duplicate content? Actually I don't think Google ever indexed this page since it was under a parent page, is that correct?
