Adding a Wide Page as the Home Page

I am using LIfestyle 2.0 and would like to eliminate the current home page that comes with the theme, and add a wide page that I can use for a custom IDX feed....

I borrowed a wide page template from agent 2.0 can I just copy the code onto the Home_Page for Lifestyle???

Any help or direction would be appreciated.
