Comments in Archive

Has anyone had any luck getting genesis_do_comments() to work in an archive?

The function is running, but it's not producing any results. I've searched through the forums on wp.org for listing comments in the archive, but I found no answers. Just a lot of people failing.

I'd really hate to have to alter the design on this, but I have a back up plan. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

I'm going to keep plugging away at it.
