Below is a list of FAQs regarding our affiliate program payments:
1. How will I know that orders came through my blog or website?
The affiliate links you generate via ShareASale will track you as the referral source for the customer. ShareASale also places a 60-day cookie on each visitor’s computer, so if a visitor you refer to us doesn’t purchase immediately and returns within 60 days, you will still receive the commission for any products they purchase. These links will also work for any page you link to on our site, so if you send someone to one particular theme through your affiliate link but they buy another theme instead, you’ll still get the commission on the sale.
ShareASale links are customizable. If you’d like to get detailed with additional tracking data regarding where and when the link was clicked, check out their documentation or this post for more information on how you can customize your links…
2. How much money will I earn through your affiliate program?
Our standard commission rate is 35% of every Genesis Framework or theme sale you make, or $75 per StudioPress Site referred. We offer $100 per Site if you refer 6-10 sales in a month and $150 per Site if you refer more than 11 Sites in a month.
We also offer other special incentives and promotions that can boost your commissions throughout the year.
3. How do I know how much commission I have earned?
You can log in to the ShareASale dashboard at any time for access to real-time reporting, which provides up-to-the-minute information about the commissions you’ve earned.
4. When will I receive my affiliate commissions?
All affiliate payments are processed by ShareASale and payments sent directly to you by the 20th of each month for sales that have cleared the 60-day transaction lock date duration, via the payment method you opt for in your ShareASale account.
5. Can I earn commissions on my own purchases?
Self-referrals are not eligible for commissions in the StudioPress affiliate program and you will not receive credit when purchasing a theme package through your own affiliate link. You may receive an automatic notification from ShareASale to let you know that a sale has taken place, but your affiliate payments will not include this amount.
