Hello;
I am trying to either center the form in on the home page in the section "what's my home worth" or insert an image widget to share the space but occupy the right side. When I try the widgets stack on top of each other (text widget and image widget) and would like to know if there is a way to get them side by side? http://serealtor.com/
Thanks,
John
April 6, 2013 at 10:59 am #33496AnitaKeymasterEach Text Widget needs CSS. So you can start with this and make your adjustments the way you want them.
The contact form is Text 8 and the What's My Home Worth is Text 9. You will need to make some adjustments to your form's CSS to accommodate the text widget.
#text-8 { float: left; margin-right: 10px; width: 400px; }
#text-9 { float: right; width: 400px; }

April 6, 2013 at 11:35 am #33507john gronleyMemberHey I got it fixed by adding the formidable widget to the area now I just have to center the widget?
April 6, 2013 at 11:37 am #33509john gronleyMemberNo even the formidable widget isn't working?
April 6, 2013 at 12:01 pm #33510AnitaKeymasterUnder the style.css - look for the .properties - change 930px to 500px and it will center.

April 6, 2013 at 12:03 pm #33512john gronleyMemberThanks but now the widget doesn't work. One minute it works the next minute it doesnt?
April 6, 2013 at 12:05 pm #33513AnitaKeymasterI see that you reduced the width. So are you saying because the width of the area changed, it doesn't work? Did it work before?

April 6, 2013 at 12:06 pm #33514AnitaKeymasterThe widget seems to work for me. All I did was hit Submit and I got this page - http://serealtor.az-re.com/resultsarmlsres_206947.cfm?City=NO&ZipCodes=NO&pricemin=0&pricemax=NO&Bedrooms=NO&Bathrooms=NO&PropertyType=0&frm_action=create&form_id=9&form_key=a3aix7&item_meta%5B322%5D=&item_meta%5B323%5D=&item_key=.

April 6, 2013 at 12:06 pm #33515john gronleyMemberno it is not the width it is something to do with the short code not working? When I first put it into the properties section it worked but when I tried to add a background it doens work?
April 6, 2013 at 12:07 pm #33517john gronleyMemberThat is the wrong page it should show a message "your request was received" and keep you on the home page
I will add the widget down below and show you how it works the first time
April 6, 2013 at 12:09 pm #33519john gronleyMemberNow it works in the lower left widget
April 6, 2013 at 12:11 pm #33520AnitaKeymasterPlease describe what you mean by "it's not working" versus "it is working." As I stated, when it was in the Properties at a width of 500px - it worked for me. I click submit and it was taken to a page of listings. Define - NOT WORKING for you.

April 6, 2013 at 12:15 pm #33521john gronleyMemberOK what it does is in the lower left I added the widget again and instead of taking you to the property page (and not sending me the email) it should show you a message that says "your message was send successfully" this is how it should function properly. So the top search takes you to another page (not working) and the search below it in the lower left widget works and sends me the message and gives you a response.
Very confusing sorry
April 6, 2013 at 12:20 pm #33523AnitaKeymasterHave you tried removing and adding the code the the area again?

April 6, 2013 at 12:27 pm #33525john gronleyMemberYes and I just tried adding the "formidable widget" to another site and it doesn't want to work...guess I have to start uninstalling plugins?
April 6, 2013 at 12:30 pm #33527AnitaKeymasterIf you tried the formidable widget on another site and it doesn't work - it could be that widget.

April 6, 2013 at 12:32 pm #33529john gronleyMemberYes the widget is bad but the short code is working and it is not. on the serealtor.com site it works when I first put it into a widget area; did you try the lower search on the home page? that will show you how it is suppose to work.
April 6, 2013 at 12:38 pm #33534john gronleyMemberOK it only works if there are two text widgets with the same short code? I tried to remove the top text widget and then the lower left widget stopped working. then I added the properties text widget back and it works again?
