Hi I'm having a small problem and i'm guessing there is an easy fix:
I want to show the first attached image in a archive page, but I also want to limit the content not show ALL CONTENT (which at the moment is the only way I can shoow the first attached image - I DO NOT WANT TO USE THE FEATURED IMAGE at all in any archive.Anyone help with this - I'm guessing it's just a little bit of code dropped in the functions.php file - yeah???

Sorry, that your post didn't receive a response sooner.
The posts on this forum are mostly answered by volunteers and sometimes questions get pushed out-of-view.I hope you solved your issue.
Please let us know if you still need assistance.
March 8, 2018 at 7:28 pm #217547hophead99MemberHey Christoph
If I hadn't resolved my issue through my own inginuity by now there would be no hope for me in developing websites for my clients would there!
And yes, despite being a lifetime member of the genesis community I find responsiveness to problems via the forum pretty pathetic these days, I do appreciate the fact that you have responded, even without a solution or suggestion on how to remedy my issue, so thanks for at least responding, albeit 4 months late.
Really, and nothing personal, but this forum is pathetic.March 8, 2018 at 8:18 pm #217555ChristophMemberI hear you.
Right now, there are more than 400 unanswered posts.
https://www.studiopress.community/view/no-repliesI have not been on the forum in a very long time and am just trying to touch base / get caught up with the authors of old unanswered posts which is why I'm not always including ideas or solutions for the posted issues 🙂
I don't know who is still answering questions here, but Victor and Brad can't do it alone.
I know there is a pretty active FB group (https://facebook.com/groups/genesiswp) and I'm mostly hanging out in the genesiswp Slack group (https://genesis.community/slack).
Just to mention alternatives to the forum 🙂
March 8, 2018 at 8:31 pm #217556hophead99MemberAgain.....I appreciate your input mate
But still, this forum is obviously a real a waste of time.
I think anyone new to Genesis would be pretty pissed off with the general lack of response. Also some of us choose not to participate in or have anything to do with FB. The very existence of Slack proves what a waste of time the Genesis forum is, and that someone thought it required a 'productive' alternative. Mr. Gardner, making too much money and getting bloody lazy beginning of the end.... sad, pathetic - nuff said - moving on.March 8, 2018 at 8:32 pm #217557hophead99MemberStill no answer to my original question or serious follow up!!!
