Hi there,
Thank you for reading my support question! Your time and effort is greatly appreciated knowing that you're doing this in your own free time without any obligations whatsoever purely out of your good intentions to help and contribute to this awesome community.
I've got a simple question...
Which theme (preferably from StudioPress and if possible one that can be customized with Genesis Design Palette Pro but not necessary) would you recommend for a good learning experience for an online course? I know that basically any theme could be used for an online course so I'll try to explain why I'm asking this.
To provide you with a little bit of background, the course will be on a subdomain of my website like courses.mydomain.com to provide a separate environment for my students. My students can follow one or multiple courses and they range from a simple course with just a single module with around 7 lesson units to an extensive course that takes about two years with 8 modules and a total of approximately 200 lesson units.
I'll be using Zippy Courses to offer my course. For my website I'm using the Parallax Pro theme. You can check it out on http://hashimnaushahi.com to get a look and feel of my website. It doesn't have to look similar to my website. What I'm looking for is a design that looks structured and organized and is easy to navigate between courses, modules and lesson units with the menu(s) of that theme combined with the smart widgets and menus of Zippy Courses. My lessons are primarily videos with the option to download the slides and a transcript and ask questions and provide feedback with comments underneath each video. But at the same time I'd like the environment to be as minimalistic and clean as possible with nice and clear typeface so that my students can really focus on the contents of the course in a pleasant way.
I'm not that good with coding so a theme that would require minimal customizing (or could be customized with Genesis Design Palette Pro) would be ideal for me to get this course up and running as fast as possible.
Thank you once again for reading all of this and I'm really looking forward to hear what theme you'd be using!
Sincerely,
Hashim

Maybe worth a look.

This looks great!
It seems that this theme is tailor made for LearnDash. But I guess it would great with every membership our lms plugin.
Thanks for sharing this option with me! I'd still like to see some more ideas of others in this community before I decide. You never know what you can learn from other people. And I'm your typical eternal student. 😉
Thank you for this Eamon!
Sincerely,
Hashim
