Hey everybody. This is the first time I purchased anything from StudioPress and I'm really happy with the quality of the template and the functionality. But I'm having an issue removing the name field from my website: RemarkableWeed.com
I purchased the Generate Theme from StudioPress. Then downloaded this plugin: http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-simple-aweber-form
Next I synced my Aweber account with the site. Deleted the CSS for the "name" field, but realized that would only delete the style and not the field itself.
But here's my issue. Aweber support is telling me to use their form tool to remove the field, and obviously that doesn't help me. Because I didn't use their form tools to create this.
Other than hiring a developer, are there any alternatives that can help me remove the "name" field? So there's only an "email" field showing on my landing page?
Thank you!

.enews-widget .aweber .name { display: none; }

Porter, I did what you said. The field is gone, but now when people hit subscribe they get an error screen. It tells them "please fill in the missing information: name."
Is there anything I can do so this is no longer a required field to fill out?
Thank you!!

You go to aweber and you set up what is and is not required.

http://davidboozer.com/configure-aweber-form-genesis-enews-extended-plug/His posted code is incorrectly formatted. Change curly double and single to double or single tick marks and fill in the id and other information.
I see that the aweber form plugin is the reason why, this plugin is the reason why: http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-simple-aweber-form -- it has both a name and email.
In his own comments, he recommends the eNews widget, not the plugin he has.

I completely missed the author's comment on that post. I deleted his CSS, then downloaded the eNews Widget. It really is a lot easier to use.
StudioPress recommends downloading that guy's widget after purchasing the Generate theme. I'll email them with the updated info so they can change it.
The form is fully functional now: RemarkableWeed.com
But for some reason the formatting is off for the "subscribe" button. Is this something that a line of CSS can fix?
