Hi,
I am having this issue with "double images" in my posts. When post is in homepage, it's an nice large image. But there is a smaller double below it:
<img src="http://gabrielocean.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/double_image.png"
When I click on the post, all I get is the smaller image:
<img src="http://gabrielocean.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/small_image_post.png"
I've played around with Genesis > Theme Options > Include the Feature Image, but nothing seems to work.
I'd like a large pic on the homepage in the post, and then the same size image when I "open" the post up to read more.
Thanks alot.
I'm really sorry how embarrassing. For whatever reason I'm having trouble embedding images into my post, and there is no edit post button. So I did not mean to post this stupid question four times (I can't find a delete post button either).
Apologies...
I think with default epik theme, there were no featured images that showed up in the single post view.
Did you add your own code to make this happen?
I think if you did, this is what has gone wrong.
There is a great tutorial here from Brad which goes through the correct way of doing it.
From his code you can see that he makes the sure the code is conditional and only adds an image on the single posts, (epik theme already shows the images on the homepage - that is why your getting two images showing) and also he chooses which image size he wants to be displayed.
Should solve both your problems.
I love helping creative entrepreneurs build epic things with WP & Genesis.
Hi David,
Thanks for the reply. I looked through that tutorial. It's odd- all his code snippets are exactly the same? I tried that and i am still having the same issue.
No- I didn't add any code at all. Fresh install on this.
MODS:::::: can you please remove the duplicate threads I started by mistake? I also had this thread in the wrong place on the forum. apologies...
