Just spent about a week doing a complete theme redesign of my wifes site. The previous theme's were created with artisteer which was good for being a WYSIWYG editor, but the code came out horrible, and the theme didn't play well with many plugins and wordpress upgrades.
Prior to last week I had zero knowledge of CSS and limited knowledge of html, however I spun this theme off of the innov8tive theme which was purchased with the genesis theme framework. Let me know what you think, and if you guys have any pointers.
Thanks in advance.
In case the above doesn't work the link is http://nourishyourtemple.com
I think your site looks really good. The only thing I didn't like so much is the italicized font you're using in the menu and for the headings. Overall, though, I think it looks great!
I'm using the innov8tive theme as well. I would just recommend that the first slider image be the same size as the rest of the pictures. Great work! I'm a newbie as well to code. How did you get the blog on the home page to look that way? (Thumbnail on the left with title and text to the right) I've tried altering the widget options but it's just not happening for me. If anyone can let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

@moshpitqueen - in the widget area, are you using a featured post? If so, select "Left" under "Image Alignment". If that doesn't work for you, go ahead and start a new topic in the "Design Tips" part of the forum, with a link to your site, and I will take a look.
I had all of that right Susan, but I figured out what I was doing wrong! I didn't think to move the widget to the Home Top underneath the responsive slider. When I did that, I could achieve what I was looking for.
