If you look at the footer nav on http://www.cityslick.in , you'll notice it's messed up.
The PHP I'm using is:
//ADMIN: Customize the footer function bg_footer() { ?>

© Copyright <?php echo date('Y'); ?>-City Slickin'. All Rights Reserved.Powered by some taste, timeless music and the spirit of Bombay.

<?php } remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_open', 5 ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_do_footer' ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_close', 15 ); add_action( 'genesis_after', 'bg_footer' );
What I actually want is the footer nav to resemble the header nav...using span: left and span: right.
I tried doing this but it doesn't seem to work too well...
Any ideas? I'm using the Avalance theme by Brian Gardner...
January 27, 2013 at 4:29 pm #15429Zach RussellMemberThe first thing I see just by glancing at the code is that the link you have in the footer to yoyohoneysingh.com isn't made right, it looks like you have some sort of a link within a link, which could be why the styling isn't working properly. The PHP is correct to add the footer nav. The other recommendation that you'll hear from me, or almost anyone else on this forum is to use Firebug or Chrome Developer tools (more advanced) to find CSS issues and test styling live in the browser.
Hope that helped!

This is my current PHP but it still breaks formatting(please ignore the double hrefs)...
//ADMIN: Customize the footer function bg_footer() { ?>

© -City Slickin'. All Rights Reserved. Powered by some taste, timeless music and the spirit of Bombay.

} remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_open', 5 ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_do_footer' ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_close', 15 ); add_action( 'genesis_after', 'bg_footer' );
FWIW, this is how my header is coded...
//ADMIN: Add the top navigation function topnav() { echo '

Like reading here?Follow @cityslickin HomeAbout UsGet in Touch

'; } add_action( 'genesis_before', 'topnav' );

Weirdly enough, the CSS for #topnav and #footer is EXACTLY the same. Yet, the difference exists...
