Hi,
I have Genesis and a child theme installed and have been using them for quite a while now on this domain:
http://walkinginfaithdaily.com/
Today I wanted to change the theme - and for some reason "Genesis" on the left navigation column has disappeared. It's still loaded and the child theme is still activated but I can not figure out what made it disappear on the navigation in WordPress.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much,

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to with a "left navigation column" with Genesis in it, but maybe you're just missing a menu?Very frequently when changing themes, the menus get unselected. I'm honestly not sure why this is, but you can go to...
Appearance... Menus.... and look in the Theme Locations on the upper left, and see if nothing is selected. If so, select the menu(s) you want again, and Save.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough on this ๐ I'm talking about WordPress navigation, where it starts with Dashboard, Posts, Media, Pages, Comments, and then Genesis appears there.
Genesis has disappeared from the WordPress navigation bar completely but it is still installed because the child theme works and of course Genesis is still in the themes panel as well.
I have no idea how or why it disappeared and was hoping maybe someone has had this problem before and would know.
Thanks,

Let me know if that doesn't resolve your problem!

Yeah, I recognize your theme and everything. That is really strange. But I do have one idea.
Look at this bit of code. Its purpose is to "vanish" the Genesis menu from the menu. This could be done if someone wanted to "shield" the Genesis menu from a client, for instance. But it would have to be done pretty deliberately by someone, so I'm not betting heavily on that.
Look in Appearance... Editor, and click on Theme Functions on the upper right. If you see that line in there, you have your answer. ๐ If not, some hands-on help maybe needed. Official Studiopress might be willing to look at that for you.
Cheers, Dave

I appreciate your time and answers.
All the best,
