I went in the functions.php file to change the header image to 540 x 210, but the image is still cut up. What am I missing and what do I need to change to make it work?

January 16, 2017 at 1:32 pm #199493Victor FontModeratorYou need to adjust the CSS for whatever you're putting in header right. I looked at your site and you have nothing there right now. Can't help you further without seeing the site.

You have it set for 540px. Your image is only 360px.
/* Widget Area --------------------------------------------- */ .site-header .widget-area { float: right; text-align: right; width: 300px; }
Your widget (right header) is set at 740px as well. You can reduce this to something smaller (ie. 300px) since you only have two icons in that area.
January 19, 2017 at 2:22 pm #199696Victor FontModeratorWhat's happening now is that the two areas in the site header are bumping into each other. The site header wrap has a width set to 1140px. Your log is 540px wide and the header right widget area is 740px wide. The site header is the parent element. The sum of the widths of the child elements cannot exceed the width of the parent element. In your case, you're trying to fit 1280px (540+740) into a space that's only 1140px wide. Something has to give. In this case the header right widget area is being shoved down because there's not enough room for it with the logo area that wide.
Change the CSS for the header right widget area at line 960 in style.css like this.
.site-header .widget-area { float: right; text-align: right; width: 600px; margin-top: 66px; }

January 19, 2017 at 6:06 pm #199703Victor FontModeratorKeep increasing the margin-top until the icons are where you want them.
