I want to increase the width of my primary sidebar to 336 to accomate Google Adsense. I've looked everywhere, but can't find the answer on how to do this. I suppose I'll have to increase the general width too?
Could anyone provide with the necessary css codes?

.sidebar { display: inline; float: right; font-size: 14px; padding: 10px 0 0; width: 280px;

I went to Custom Code and pasted the code, but nothing happened…
Also how do I make the adjustments to the main content section? What CSS should I use for that?December 29, 2013 at 8:53 am #81822RobGMemberI'm looking at your website's sidebar and the ads look like they're fiting just fine.

December 29, 2013 at 9:02 am #81824RobGMemberWhat size are the bannner ads are they 300 in width?
And are you trying to make the changes from your style.css file?

I went to custom code and first pased the code you offered in css.
When that didn't do anything I pasted it in the field with php. Then my blog was gone, and all I had was a blank page...January 1, 2014 at 8:06 am #82472RobGMemberI would think if you're placing the banner ads in the side bar size would be a big factor. The code I posted is for CSS files only not PHP, so that would not impact it at all.
The reason I ask about the banner size if because if you placed the correct size banner in your sidebar you won't have to change the content section because it will require more coding. From this end it's look like the ads are about 300 x 250 around that size.
And it looks good from this end

So I'm still looking for an answer to this question: how do I increase the width of my sidebar tot 336, to accomadate a bigger Google ad.
I suppose I'll have to increase: overall width, sidebar width, footer width, and header width?
But what code should I use, and where do I put this code?
Could someone please help me out?
