Hello community,
Okay, I have some problems with my sign up form.
I am trying to put it into a header, to look like this
http://www.carriedils.com/add-widget-area-below-nav/ (PS This site design is amazing! 🙂 )I followed the tutorial, however, can anyone tell me how can I have text at the right side, and sign up form on the other.
When I paste my
Genesis eNews Extended plugin, it looks a bit oversized and I do not know how to make it to look like that, with text on the left.I´d also like to change colors of subscribe button, but I´ve no idea how. Should I change only button, or that applies to whole theme. It would be nice to apply it to the whole theme since my theme shows orange color, and I´d like it blue lets say.
Any ideas?
Have a great day everyone!

Okay, here is my problem
http://www.cardzreview.com/test/and I would love to create it to look like this, with text on the right side, and the smaller signup form, just as in the example.
http://www.carriedils.com/add-widget-area-below-nav/Should I be adding text widget and how to align this whole thing.
Any ideas?April 23, 2014 at 1:38 pm #102102PavleMemberCan anyone help me out with this, please?
Thanks in advance guys.

as I still do not know how to do this..
April 24, 2014 at 8:27 am #102151AnitaKeymasterSorry, I wasn't receiving message from this post in my email. She has two widgets in the one area - one floating left and one floating right. So you will need to add another widget in there unless you only one the subscribe to be flushed to the left. What are you trying to accomplish now?

April 24, 2014 at 8:33 am #102154PavleMemberMany thanks for the reply, you do not need to apologize, you are helping me! I am really thankful for that.
Well I would like to have exactly like this
http://www.carriedils.com/add-widget-area-below-nav/A short text, and a smaller sign up form. So that on the left, I can write a nice intro, and people can see subscribe here on the right.
Here is what I did :
-Added TEXT/Html widget first
-Added Genesis eNews ExtenderHow can I target and align them so that text is on the left, and smaller sign up on the right, lets say exactly as in the link above? That´s my biggest problem 🙁
Thanks a lot once again!
PS
I´ve just seen your site, its beautiful.April 24, 2014 at 8:41 am #102157AnitaKeymasterOh thank you for the compliment! Add this to the bottom of your style sheet:
#text-11 h4 { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 18px; } #text-11 { float: left; font-size: 16px; width: 65%; } #enews-ext-3 { float: right; width: 30%; }
Now how this works - your text box id is Text-11 and the eNews widget is enews-ext-3. If you remove those and then add them back - the ID's may change. If so, you will need to use Firebug or another developer tool to identify those ids and replace them in this code.
