Hey Everyone,
First off I want to say I'm very green at this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a couple of questions:
First, I am making some light adjustments to the site to customize. I
increased the width of the header and would like to center my header
image.Second, I would like to remove the section of the front page that
currently under the tagline. the white section that says "edit". I believe
this is supposed to be for a blog section, but is not needed here.Third, the tagline section jumps from the bottom of the page to the top
when you navigate to any of the other pages.Fourth, the page response seems to be off when I plug my site into the response test on studiopress.
Lastly, my menu seems to have centered and I can't find any code that would have changed that.
Again, super green here so any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

It may help you understand how the Genesis Framework is constructed if you install the Genesis Visual Hook guide while you are developing the site. https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-visual-hook-guide/. If you can visualize the header area as a row on a spreadsheet that has only two cells. The left cell (title area) is where the logo fits, the right cell (the header-right widget area) is where you have the menu. Both of these areas have to fit within the total width of the header container (the row). Your header container (.site-header .wrap) has a width of 1140px. Your logo area is 300px wide and your header-right widget area is 800px. This leaves you only 40px in the middle of the two for room. Visually, it looks something like this:
You can widen the header and title area, and shorten the header-right widget area, but you can never center the logo with this configuration. It just isn't possible. You would either have to move the logo to a different hook, or not use the header-right widget area and move the menu someplace else. To center the logo, it needs either the full width of the parent container or needs to be in the center of a three-column area.
2. Edit does not display to users unless they are logged in and have edit privileges for the page/post. If you don't want to mess with PHP code, the easiest way to adjust the entry meta is to use the Genesis Simple Edits plugin.
3. The tagline on the front page has a top margin of 600px. It is still located in it's normal position at the top of the page, but because of the huge top margin, it appears to be at the bottom of the page. That top margin is on the home page only. That's why it appears that the tagline is moving.
4. Saying the "display is off" can mean many things. Ask for specific help and you may get a solid answer.
5. The menu is not centered. It is on the upper right of the screen. But depending on your screen width, it may appear centered to you because there's not enough room for the two header areas to appear on the same line.
If I may make a suggestion, please take the time to learn how to use your browser's inspect element tool. This will help you tremendously in figuring out how to adjust CSS.
