I'm not really sure how to pose the question. I have an image on my home page that moved some how when I changed some text. I've been all over the dashboard to see where the image is located so I could get it back in place, but no luck. Please help. My site looks jacked up. Thanks.

Lynne emasai.comOctober 16, 2013 at 2:35 pm #67073licenseguruMemberHome top 2 is empty. I tried changing the margin top width within home top 1, but it didn't change anything.
Is it possible to change the size of the image? I did not build the site, and I don't know where the site builder put/stored the image.
Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

.home-top-1 .widget {
margin: 0;
padding: 20px;
float: left;
width: 230px; }.home-top-1 {
background: #1273a1 url(/wp-content/themes/enterprise/images/home-top-left.png) left repeat-y;
float: left;
height: 235px;
width: 930px;}

Lynne emasai.comOctober 16, 2013 at 3:56 pm #67078licenseguruMemberSweet.... rookie question of the day.... where do I place that code?
This question has haunted me. I've looked all over the dashboard for a place to view/edit the code and just can't find it. If you could answer this question for me, I'd be forever grateful!
October 16, 2013 at 4:10 pm #67082emasaiParticipantHaha.... this is CSS code so it will go in your css file not in the dashboard. Find those two css selectors and modify it to the code I sent you.

Lynne emasai.comOctober 16, 2013 at 4:16 pm #67083licenseguruMemberAnd where is that elusive css file? 🙂
I'm thinking my problem is... I don't have access to the ftp file manager. The site designer is also hosting the site.
October 16, 2013 at 4:50 pm #67085emasaiParticipantSo why didn't you get him/her to fix your issue?
You can also access the css file through the editor function on the dashboard, but if the site designer modifies the file and uploads through ftp your changes will be overwritten. You really should have all the relevant information regarding your domain name and hosting access. Unless they are a big company, if anything should happen to the site designer or you no longer get along with them, you could be locked out of your site.

Lynne emasai.comOctober 16, 2013 at 5:01 pm #67088licenseguruMemberI emailed them first thing. No reply, so I thought I’d work the problem. I’ve worked on my own html sites for years and always had full access. WordPress is new to me so I used a web designer. Perhaps if I host the site myself, I’ll get the control I need??
I saw on your site you recommend bluehost. I used them years ago before going with godaddy.
Do you think my site needs help? It’s only been live for a few months now and I’m still waiting for my natural search rankings to improve. I see you do seo also.
