Hello 🙂 Like hundreds of thousands of WordPress sites mine relies on adverts in the sidebar to keep going. We are now at the stage where more people use many sites on mobile devices than desktop PCs.
I use StreamlinePro child theme which is mobile friendly. However, people visiting my site on mobiles don't see any of my ads in my sidebar because the sidebar is displayed after comments. As some of my article have hundreds of comments this effectively means my vital ads are not being shown.
How can I get the comments to be displayed after the sidebar please?

For questions relating to CSS or CSS for Media Queries, please link to a live site.
April 19, 2017 at 6:12 am #204985XyZedMemberThanks. I may have posted in the wrong area? I didn't think it necessary to link to my site as was sure it is the way the Streamlinepro theme is designed but maybe I'm wrong.
Here is a typical page of mine with the ads in the sidebar
These ads are part of the resource of my site and essential to finance it. But they are not shown until after comments when displaying on mobiles devices. This effectively means that the vast majority of people will never see them if there are comments on an article.
As mobile devices are becoming the dominant device it is now something that seriously undermines any site with ads.

April 24, 2017 at 4:28 am #205194XyZedMemberI've just done more research and it's official. The most common device to access the internet is now a mobile device. So most people will not see any of my adverts with the sidebar being displayed after comments. I appreciate the best thing to do is for me to totally rethink how I display my ads but it would be great to have a quick workaround to be able to have sidebar display after content and before the comments.

The function for this is already built into Genesis.
April 25, 2017 at 2:23 am #205236XyZedMemberThanks Brad. That's useful to know. I've just tested it out. It works 🙂 Though it only looks good for a small bit of content because it appears to only show content placed directly within the paragraph inside the functions file using echo function? Unless there is a way to get it to load content from elsewhere it would mean adding a lot of content via the functions.php file. I'm not sure if that's OK, or advisable? I'm looking to add banners etc.
April 25, 2017 at 2:26 am #205238Brad DaltonParticipantYou can code the banners within the functions file or add a widget.
