Hello - wondering if someone is able to help me please?
I've done a search and can't find a similar problem. Essentially, I would like to set-up an Archives Page using a Widget as I'm computer illiterate when it comes to the CSS system...
My website is http://www.veronicacolvin.com
I have a blog page - http://veronicacolvin.com/blog/
I would like an Archive Blog page by category as per this sample - http://www.lizsteel.com/archives/ (with a link to "More" so visitors can get the rest of the blogs in the category).
I'm using the Modern Portfolio Pro template on Genesis Framework.
I have already set-up an Archives Page (http://veronicacolvin.com/archives/) - and have spent hours trying to find an Archives Plugin that will structure my archives page as per the Liz Steel sample and haven't found one. I am a sole trader/small business, small budget to purchase a "Pro" template if need be (just can't go into the $100+ dollars).
Many thanks in advance. 🙂http://www.veronicacolvin.comJanuary 11, 2017 at 6:33 am #199179January 11, 2017 at 6:52 am #199180
And this template displays 3 post thumbnails from each category. Could easily add the title as well.

Thanks Brad, will have a good look at your site, wealth of information. 🙂
This would work, but I can't see a "More" content/clickackle heading for users to get more content of that category opened/displayed in a new page. Are you able to do that with the "Template For Multiple Custom Taxonomy Type Loops." template?January 11, 2017 at 5:12 pm #199237January 11, 2017 at 5:35 pm #199240
Thanks, that's is what I'm looking for.
With regards to the font of the headings etc., will it automatically pick-up the style of my theme to ensure it is all consistent?
Also, I believe this means me tweaking the CSS (which I am hesitant to do as I'm worried about stuffing up my website), do you provide step by step instructions on how to do this (obviously once I register)?January 11, 2017 at 5:39 pm #199242
The template comes as it. I only support some PHP code modifications. Not CSS but you could load it up on a live site and link to the page so someone can inspect the CSS if you need help.
Coded to work with the Magazine Pro theme. The CSS will need tweaking to work on other themes.

Thanks Brad, I will have a look into it.
