I just did a fresh install of Metro Pro and followed the instructions to set it up like the demo. Yes I did import the xml file.
The images for the featured story are not showing up on my home page... they are showing up in the demo home page.
I figured I must need to go back to the demo and save the images from the post. On the demo when you click the link to the full post there is no image above it. I could swear there was one on version 1 of Metro.
I go back to my site and open the feature story post to edit. There is an image url above the post content. I take the image url and put it in my browser and get a 404 file can't be found. Which is why the image is not displaying on the demo post on the Metro Pro demo site.
However I do have version 1 of metro and unzipped it on my computer and notice the featured images are in the image folder but are missing from Metro Pro image folder. I did upload them thru wordpress... went back to the post and click the featured image link, changed the image url so now they are showing...
The problem I'm running into is the photo in the feature 2 story are not automatically resizing to the 332 x 190 size specified in the feature post widget.
Same problem with featured 4 story which is suppose to be 150 x150 specified in the feature post widget.
I thought these photo's would automatically resize or do I need to make 3 different sizes for each post?
Thanks

I thought the theme automatically resized photos...
I give up... totally uninstalled the wordpress and will start all over again...
Maybe I missed something in the tutorials
Thanks
September 5, 2013 at 3:16 pm #60942SusanModeratorFrom the plugin's description:
Regenerate Thumbnails allows you to regenerate the thumbnails for your image attachments. This is very handy if you've changed any of your thumbnail dimensions (via Settings -> Media) after previously uploading images or have changed to a theme with different featured post image dimensions.
Your theme does automatically resize images to fit the theme's sizes, but if it had previously set image sizes, and you add a new theme with different image size settings, this allows the existing media in your library to be resized to fit the new theme.

But the re-install did the trick... something must not have installed/uploaded correctly with the first install of wordpress/genisis and/or xml.
Got it set up just like the demo site.
Since this a test site for new theme for our live site, your plug in recommendation will come in very handy once everything is set up to move to the live site.
