Hi,
We have Agency Theme and we would like to add the company address in the footer. We have used Simple Edits for
Back to top
Credit
OutputIs the footer the right one to use? And if so, how is it possible to add that without "disturbing" the already existing footers line (looks like there is no more space...)
Thanks in advance.

Change the hook location if needed. http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/
I suggest you create the HTML for your company address i n your WordPress editor and centre it there then simply paste the HTML between the opening and closing div tags in the code snippet above. This enables you to easily style the output of your HTML for your company address using CSS code in your child themes style.css file.
These are 3 locations you can choose from which you'll see in the hook map:

Copy the code from the raw view and add it to the end fo your child themes functions.php file.
Create the HTML or text for your company address in your editor and paste it between the div tags in the code.
Where exactly do you want to display yuour company address?
Take a screenshot and point an arrow to it.
April 22, 2013 at 2:10 pm #36950TonjeMemberThank you so much, that worked. I have so little skills so I mange to put it in the stylesheet.
Now, the company address is finally there, thanks to your explanation.

April 25, 2013 at 1:36 pm #37710TonjeMemberIts me again Brad,
I tried to do some more tweaks to the company information like adding color.
All of the sudden the site went down with this message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/4/i/iexcelbooks/www/wp-content/themes/Archive/functions.php on line 115
Anyone knows how I can solve that error and to get the site up again? I am sure I by a mistake touched something else than the footer....
Thanks

Where did you paste it?
Always use a text editor like Norepad++ and access the file directly rather than use the WordPress theme editor in the dashboard.

I guess I might have used a wrong editor (I pasted it at the end of the php....)
I will try again 🙂
