I have added a tagline to my General Settings but it is not diplaying in my header for Centric can this be added?
Also is there a way to make this header smaller?
Thanks.http://blog.baystateconsulting.com/May 7, 2015 at 2:37 pm #150777May 7, 2015 at 2:40 pm #150781May 7, 2015 at 2:50 pm #150785
In your style.css find .site-description and change it to the following -
Then find .bumper and change it to -
Then hit Update and refresh the site.

Sorry new to making changes to style.css in the Centric Pro theme.
I looked in both of these style.css and neither have the .bumper tag. Where is the style.css that I should be modifying?
I appreciate your assistance.May 9, 2015 at 9:46 am #151243May 10, 2015 at 7:25 am #151439
I do not have a Centric-Pro folder under themes. When I installed the theme I did it through the WP Dashboard. So might it be somewhere else? Thanks.May 10, 2015 at 9:38 am #151490May 10, 2015 at 9:49 am #151499
You definitely do have a Centric-Pro folder...and it *is* in the Themes folder. I looked at the code on your site and I see the link to the stylesheet, and the stylesheet is right there where we would expect it to be.
Are you sure you're looking in the right place?
It will be in the wp-content folder:

Here is a screen shot of the file directory: https://www.dropbox.com/s/48tccezi6uvfkmx/Studio%20Press%20Screen%20Shot.png?dl=0May 10, 2015 at 6:33 pm #151604
OK...I'm no expert at this...but...
...I see your screenshot, and...as you say....I don't see the Centric-Pro folder.
But...your code shows that the folder *is* there, along with the stylesheet.
I wonder if it's possible that you somehow are looking in the wrong place...maybe you're looking at the directories of some other domain you own...I know that can get confusing sometimes.
If you look at two screenshots I made...in one screenshot you'll see the code in your site that points to the directory:
And in the second screenshot you'll see the URL for where I've actually viewed the CSS file:
Here's the URL to see my screenshots:

Thanks for putting up with me. It appears our ISP moved our blog to a new IP. Issue solved!
