The Crystal theme has about 9 pieces to the background, and therefore it is a bear to change. I have a client who wants to see different backgrounds (he wants a blue background instead of the white) and this theme requires that every gradient be tweaked in photoshop and of course the home page background is combined with the header and is 5 swatches alone. Is there a way to convert the homepage background into one image that I can upload and use this same image for the interior pages as well? Here is the site http://phoenixhomesforsalehq.com

Here's a couple of plugins which may help:
You could also use CSS or PHP code to get the job done.

Thanks Brad I will try these.
The CSS I have been using has been:
background: url(images/bg7.jpg) no-repeat center center fixed;
My only question with the code is: Is there a best size to use as the image? What should be the dimensions in pixels?

I've actually done it with the simple full screen plugin and works well. Not sure I like the whole background image for this particular site I'm working on but will leave that to the client to decide.

Katie I was able to get the background all one color by going into the style sheet and renaming the pieces such as home-center.jpg and the other swatches that make up the background to one file. Here is one of the sites (I don't like it but the customer wanted it so...) http://nelsonazrealestate.com/November 21, 2013 at 11:20 pm #74893November 21, 2013 at 11:26 pm #74897
Which text boxes were you referring to? Usually you can change the background color or add one.
